Where does this ritual come from?

My mother used to do this ritual for my brother and me when we lived at home; it has such beautiful protective qualities. 

Many people ask what the difference between the evil eye and the protection ritual is; the protection ritual is proactive to stop anything coming through - it’s like a raincoat against “dense energy.”

The evil eye ritual is to remove any negative energy that’s already enveloped us ❤️ (it’s a reactive ritual).

As you may know, I was born in Odessa, Ukraine, by the Black Sea, and many of the rituals infuse the salt water's healing qualities - this one is no different. The ocean is very symbolic of this ritual, as is salt.

This ritual can be gifted to someone with or without their knowledge. Ethically, this provides a shield of love and protection to the participant and will inflict no harm.  

Required: the participant's full name (the name can be a nickname, maiden or married name - but must be a full name i.e. first and last, the idea is that if that name is called out on the street, the person will turn around).

Why take part in this ritual?

This is a proactive approach to protecting one's energy! It is not a cleanse but rather stopping any "negative" or dense energy from entering the participant's realm. The energy will bounce off, be sent back into the Universe, and transmuted into something positive.

This ritual is very gentle for young children, during pregnancy or anyone seeking to conceive and vulnerable members of our community - you are welcome to gift this to someone else with or without their knowledge (there is no harm to you or the person when you do this)

How long does the ritual energy last?

This ritual will hold its intention for three months until it gently dissolves.

Ritual process

• Write the participant's name and date of birth on a piece of paper and place this in a bowl 
•  Surround this bowl with:  
• Pink Himalayan Salt (for protection) 
• Two large white candles (representing protection) 
• One Gold candle (emphasising and amplifying the protection intention) 
• Place the bowl in front of a mirror - this represents reflection and "negative intentions bouncing off." 
• Leave this overnight 
• The next day, place warm water and three tablespoons of salt over the names and mix it anti-clockwise three times (representing the removal of ill intentions and protection from the salt) 
• Say the following chant; 
• "There is no harm, only good; there is no fear, only love; all that doesn't fit this equation is sent to the universe with love, and it will change its form to light, nourishing the Universe.
  
  I protect (name) and their loved ones." 
• Leave the bowl in front of the mirror overnight. 
• The following day, repeat the above chant and take the contents of the bowl and drop it into the salty ocean  
• The Ocean (salt water) represents protection, cleanse and purity.
